Confirm the authenticity of a certificate issued under the Guatemalan flag using its verification number or QR code.
How to validate a document
Certificates issued by the Guatemala Maritime Administration are assigned a unique verification number, allowing port authorities, maritime organisations and other stakeholders to confirm their authenticity through the online verification portal.
Open the verification portal.
Enter the certificate number exactly as it appears on the document.
Alternatively, scan the QR code printed on the certificate to open the verification system directly.
Keep the original certificate on board at all times and present it on request to the competent authorities wherever the vessel is operating.
